But, the problem is, I have this thought of a game with the scope of Pantheon, but treating the topic somewhat seriously - actually investigating the early growth of organized religions and civilization. Haven't seen anything too close to my thoughts on this yet (and too lazy to design it).
I first thought of Olympos, mainly my fav because it uses a time track. But it only uses mythology for a few events during the game.
Where I think it is implemented best is in Cyclades. This is because in that game you make offerings to the god whose favor you want and the player making the greatest offering receives the divine help of that god.
