Hi there,
my question is simple.I want to understand what is the idea of the "barrier" in the game. What i really mean is this...we have in the game, monsters to encounter, treasures to get,and finally the henchmen to defeat. What is the meaning of the "barrier" card?

Thanks

An obstacle to further progress, be its trap (like a pit or a locked door), a temptation (like a locked chest), or a situation (like an overly amorous shopkeeper's daughter). Some can be largely ignored but still cost you a little time (the chests), and some are a prernuisance (collapsed ceilings).

Things that are not monsters that you encounter.
