Did a quick search using the search feature on the forum, didn't find anything. This question is primarily directed to anyone affiliated with the project who can answer these questions.

How many cards will arrive with the Kickstarter Edition of the game for Master Sergeant (all the base nations, plus all KS rewards)?

What are the dimensions of the action deck cards?

What are the dimensions of the rulebook?

What are the dimensions of the vehicle cards?

What are the dimensions of the weapon cards?

What are the thicknesses of the cards?

What other components (chits, vehicles, etc.) are included?

How much room should I have for future expansions (how many cards, etc.)?

I'm trying to gather information for a possible custom built box and would like it to be able to hold everything.

Thanks so much for any responses.

I had hoped they'd've had the vehicles at double the size of the regular cards since they have sleeves for those (ie for planes from M:tG Planechase).

I'm pretty sure the plan was for all cards to be industry standard 3.5 x2.5 inch. OTOH, the publisher would certainly score money and PR by releasing an "oversized vehicle card expansion pack" for ~$20. Like with the Sentinels of the Multiverse oversized villain cards.

What I was hoping was that someone from Radiant would post here with the number of cards, number of chits, and dimensions for everything. I'll give it a week or so before trying to e-mail them. I figured they were monitoring this game's page closely considering the release date is approaching.

Hopefully I can get the information soon. This information is a cool thing to let buyers know about, anyway.

Cheers!

There's like 1,800+ cards and we get 2 sets of tokens. I don't have time tonight, but I think all that information is contained in either some of the updates or the comments on Kickstarter.

Sorry for being short, not a lot of time.

By my count from the website (I had to estimate some of them) - assuming you purchased at the MSGT level, there are about 2,677 cards - call it 2,700.

But I still don't know the dimensions of the weapons cards and the AFVs. I also need to know the thicknesses of all the cards - this will determine the number of inches of depth for any customized case. I also need to know about potential additional expansions.

Anyway - thanks for all the posts so far. Hopefully someone from Radiant will pop by to try and answer.

Use the deck from Combat Commander to estimate thickness and size. I can't see them being much thicker or bigger than that. Don't forget to add in space for spacers/dividers.

I'm guessing that the designer's would not know what the thickness of a card would be yet since I don't believe they have any card proofs yet.

If it were me, I'd wait until I get the game before designing a custom box. Better to have the stuff in front of you to know exact measurements and such.

With all the add-ins from the KS campaign, I really don't see much in the way of expansions, but I could be wrong. I know some people have said the Chinese and stuff, but I'd think there's enough already to cover the bulk of the war.

Thanks for the tip.

Personna cards wont be standard sized, they will be smaller.

weapons cards goes under them so they probably be smaller too.

Action Cards will be standard size.

Vehicule Cards could be standard size too.

If you declare the entire table as code it will look better. Like this (without the spaces):

Sterling work there Matt.

So if this beast ever does see the light of day it will be a good idea to take a long position on the card sleeving industry!

You can sleeve them if you want, but the personality cards aren't handled that much. Take the ones you need for the scenario, lay them in groups on the table, occasionally flip them over/move them to another group/remove from play as needed. I wouldn't expect them to get much wear.

The action cards are a different matter.

I bought a lot of card boxes in preparation for storage of this game.

I didn't include the non card based stretch rewards (Extra chits/leather rule book/bag/etc.

Also he listed multi-national expansions, like Heavy Mortars & Medics/Minesweepers as 0 (presumably because the actual number was not released)--I changed these to Unk for Unknown. So the actual total, if everything is released, will be slightly higher than the totals here.

Also the personnality deck real count will be less than thoses announced because they changed the way personna and weapons cards are depicted thus they will need less personna cards. This was official replied when I pointed out that you only need about 60 cards to have every permutation of moral possible for a 12 man squad thus 101 SS were absolutely out of whack.

Thanks, that's interesting. The card count for many of the expansions did indeed seem rather out of whack. Though when the card count gets up into the thousands... Judicious trimming of unnecessary cards is quite welcome!

I never felt the need to sleeve my personality cards with the original editions...as others have mentioned, you don't shuffle them, or subject them to the usual wear-and-tear that forces cards to wear sleeves. The personalities are more like playing pieces.

I laminated all my personality cards at a Kinkos in the mid 1990's. I looked at the laminated cards recently, and they still look pristine.
