I'm telling you, these dice aren't statistically sound...

First of all, to achieve domination need a player have at least 1 battleground country and 1 REGULAR country MORE than the opponent?

For instance, I have 2 battleground countries and 1 non battleground countries in a region. My opponent has 1 non battleground country in this region. Do I have domination or not? I always interpreted the rules such that I needed to have more non-battleground countries than he did, though according to the rules in my situation I have more countries (in general) than my opponent, due to battleground countries being a subset of countries. Am I correct in thinking this way?

Secondly, after playing Cuban missile crisis my opponent plays a card which raises the DEFCON level by 1. Does the coup limitation (any coup to nuclear war) still hold?

Thirdly after playing We will bury you, my opponent cannot play UN intervention. Do I get the 3 VP's immediately? Or do I wait for a scoring moment?

Thanks! God this is such an awesome game! I am debating between 1989: Dawn of Freedom and Labyrinth: 2001-?, which one should I get first?

For Domination, you need more countries in total, more battlegrounds, and at least one non-battleground. In the example you give, you have Domination.

CMC: raising DEFCON will not remove the coup restriction, only removing influence from Cuba or West Germany/Turkey will do that.

WWBY: you get the 3 VP at the moment the US does not play UN Intervention on his next AR. That 3 VP takes effect before any VP his card play might give him, so if you hit -20 you win, even if he played a card that would give him VP.

If you want something similar to TS, get 1989, it is superb.

Labyrinth uses the same card mechanic as TS, but the similarity ends there. It is a very different game to TS, but still excellent.
