It says:

Jacobite: 4 VP in 20 turns or less. Bonnie Prince Charles must survive.
British: 7 VP or avoid Jacobite victory.
If neither side achieves a victory, it is a draw.

The last line makes no sense, since that is impossible. Should it be removed or should the British victory conditions read, "7 VP in 20 turns or less?"

Thanks!

You could have a draw if players agree to one, prior to either player reaching their victory conditions. Of course that should be common sense, but as they say in the Marine Corps common sense is an uncommon virtue.

Well, I'm afraid it'll have to wait. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman round here?

The Jacobites simply have 20 turns to achieve victory. Otherwise they get a draw (barring the Loyalists don't win of course).

I admit it could have been better phrased.

Yes, it is a bit confusing. So to clarify, you are now saying that the words 'or avoid Jacobite victory' should be removed from the British victory condition? This is how we have played it due to the reference of the possibility of a draw, which couldn't happen as originally worded.

Yes, just remove the phrase "or avoid Jacobite victory."
