Smuggle some of those small plastic cups and lids meant for holding ketchup, salsa and other sauces. Or keep the extras after you finish prepping that last batch of jello shots. You know who you are.

They are great for holding all sorts of board game pieces in and out of the box. I especially prefer them over tiny ziploc bags since you can use these while in play. These are especially handy when table space is limited or while playing on outdoor tables with holes/slots.

King of Tokyo, for example:
I use one to hold the power up cubes and another for these heart gems to track health.

I'm certain a lot of you already use them.

Especially since that's technically shoplifting by law. You don't want to be dishonest. Buy them.

Not if you ask them. I haven't had anyone refuse to give a couple extra to me.

Round baby food containers work nicely as well! If you happen to have an infant handy they are easy to come by.

Of course if you asked them, you wouldn't need to smuggle them as the OP did.

A local BBQ restaurant serves its sides in these:

http://www.amazon.com/DSS2-0001-Polystyrene-Dipping-Containe...

They are wide and shallow - perfect for organizing the bits during a game.

I took the ones my sides came in (recycling!) and asked for a few more.

It would be kind of nice to throw a few in each game rather than have to remember to bring along my only set.

My choices would be to buy 2500 of them from Amazon for $70, or spend $2000 in BBQ to collect enough for my games.

Looking at this, it looks like you can get lids for these things; but I'd hate to have them pop open in the box and would probably still store them in small bags and empty them into the containers to play.
