When I first saw this card I wondered what a 'Kriegsbiel' was supposed to be. Then, after seeing the 'Dwarf Panzergarde' in the Kumanjaro expansion it dawned on me: It's supposed to be German, and it should really be spelled 'Kriegsbeil' (i.e. a kind of axe).

Now, I find it painful whenever I see that card - such mistakes really annoy me.

My advice to foreign game designers: If you want to use German words in your game, make very sure you get them right, otherwise it ends up looking silly rather than cool.

Yeah, right!

TV Shows do it even worse... Yes, I AM looking at you, "Grimm"!

This is one of the rare instances, were the German translated version is better than the original

This is in the same painful range as "Panzerkiel", "Liebstandarte" and "Blitzkreig"... cry

I think you have unraveled the mystery.

It was staring at us all along...
