With the name for the third data pack confirmed to be Mala Tempora (Latin Translation: Bad Times), some have speculated a Badtimes reprint. This This makes me wonder what other flashy corp cards from original Netrunner might be reprinted. Specifically, World Domination and I Got a Rock were two fan-favorites back in the day, and I wonder if we'll see them in A:NR soon (or ever).

When answering, assume that FFG would make tweaks/cost changes as normal (for example, making Roving Submarine less ridiculously strong while retaining the spirit of its effect)

here are the cards listed in the poll for reference

I'd vote for Badtimes and I got a Rock just because I feel we need more punishment of tags (Although with some tweaking balance) and I also like Stereogram just because it seems like a nice trap mechanic with archives being the go to server to leech datasuckers on.

As for Badtimes being printed in Tempora Mala, I doubt it just because we've never had a card in a datapack that matches it's name.

So I'm guessing...

Badtimes - NBN, maybe Neutral
I Got a Rock - Weyland
World Domination - Weyland
Vapor Ops - Jinteki, maybe HB
Roving Submarine - HB
Stereogram Antibody - Jinteki

Well, we've seen several of these:

Corporate War: reprinted in a less swingy form.
Manhunt: reprinted as Midseason.
Nevinyrral: reprinted as Director Haas. (Who knew the Director wrote SF?)
Project Venice: reprinted (altered) as Mandatory Upgrades.
Security Purge: reprinted as Accelerated Beta Test.

Arguably:
Colonel Failure: probably semi-reprinted as Archer.
Corporate Headhunters: probably semi-reprinted (and nerfed) as PSF.

And Corporate War, it's called... Well... Corporate War.

But in all seriousness it's neat to see how many cards have, not surprisingly, been reprinted with only minor tweaks. I think something similar to schlaghund would be great. I don't want to see I've got a rock for reasons I've said before, we need a way to punish the runner for ignoring tags, but the play style should still be viable. A pumped up scorched earth would kill that play style.

Bad times is a great card, even a reduction by one MU would be great. I'd love to see a snare type card for cash. Kind of a reverse siphon, when accessed pay 3, the runner loses up to 6 credits.

Simple - if you have 3 cards in hand and 3 Plascrete Carapaces in play, you live.

And Sterdroid is practically Corporate Troubleshooter.

Project Zurich would make a great Weyland agenda.

Unless I'm missing something, Vapor Ops is insanely good and wouldn't be reprinted without serious nerfing. Compare Haas Arcology AI.

Just my opinion, but I would hate to see I Got a Rock in this game. I think it would be degenerative, especially with multi-tag stuff like Midseason Replacements out there.

My vote is for Pattel Antibody. I think it's an interesting type of ambush that hasn't been explored, and it creates an interesting defense against R&D digs - lower the efficiency of their accesses by nerfing their icebreakers.

I didn't play O:NR, but I Got A Rock would be stupidly overpowered in A:NR. Score Breaking News > I Got A Rock = Victory, unless the runner has THREE Plascretes in play. Play Midseasons > I Got A Rock = Same. No more tag floating EVER. At the moment I think tag floating Siphon strategies in Criminal are too powerful, but there are other means to counter that.

I would like some more tag punishment, but Bad Times looks much more balanced in that regard. I really believe that outright flatlining SHOULD be hard to pull off. I like other ways of punishing the runner (trashing their stuff, making them broke) better.

In the announcement of Opening Moves, Lukas did say that there will be a card that deals 6 Net damage. Perhaps that's the new incarnation of I got a Rock?

Private Security Force is a nerfed On-Call Solo Team and Mandatory Upgrades is a slighty buffed up Subsidiary Branch.

Project Beale is a reprint of Project Babylon and works in a very different manner to World Domination.

I've said it before. Six copies of WD give you 18 points, 20 with two Hostile Takeovers. That's a deck right there.

That's because the original deck was played with 40 card decks, the ratio is the same.

Or enough of these:

I want to see roving submarine. Put Adonis on a boat and watch the pretty man make you some underwater money. Then place a trap in the sub when he's done making you money. It's a great lure!

Obfuscated Fortress sounds like a neat Jinteki toy that could be splashed away for some shenanigans.
