Seeing as how chess has been around for about 500 years in its present form, I'd say it qualifies as a toy that has "engaged and delighted multiple generations".

The line-up is rotational symmetric it seems, and why the central square has only one entrance is a mystery to me. Does the fire department even allow that?

Has the Pacman game board layout ever been approved by a fire department?

The layout is like this:

There are no signs pointing to the emergency exits, and no fire extinguishers! I'm amazed that place hasn't been shut down yet!

Does it make me a nerd that I immediately noticed that Inky's eyes are wrong? Or that I knew offhand that the cyan one was named Inky? Or is it all the other stuff that makes me a nerd?

All those toys deserve inclusion, but if I were a betting man - and I am - I'd put everything I own on rubber duckies winning - and I have.
