I was listening to podcasts on my Ipod last night in bed and fell asleep with it on. I remember waking at some point and hearing the description of a game that I found interesting and then falling back asleep. I don’t fancy listening to hours of podcasts to find the section about this game again. I thought you lot would be quicker.

Parts I can remember are:

* 4 player game
* On your turn you could put (workers) Merchants into districts
* There were 8 districts to chose from
* This part was an area majority battle
* You could choose resources... (two red cubes or two black cubes) I think those were the colours, I think I remember him saying you couldn’t choose one of each colour though.

* You could remove up to two merchants from the board

* There was an EL Grande like figure on the board. It disallowed players from moving merchants into or out of the city the figure was in.

* There was a rock paper scissors type of round where players made a bid for what they wanted. If you were the only person that bid for a certain thing, you got to steal it from an opponent. If two players bid, they would take it from the stock but if 3 players bid for that same item, they lost everything of that item they owned.

That is roughly all I can remember, the whole thing is sketchy. I hope it wasn’t a dream.
