We played this earlier this week with 4 players, and it took about 2.5 hours. Just the scoring alone probably took 30 minutes.

Have people actually been able to play this in under 60 minutes?

under 60? no
I'd say about an hour 1/2 is where my group is with it.

I would say that the game is 30 minutes per player.* So, a game played by 2 experienced players should take about 60 minutes.

* I believe that the play time on the box of the second edition has been updated to state this.

We typically play this as a 2p game, and are reliably under 60 minutes. I would agree that the approximately 30 minutes per player is a reasonable estimate, although this can be shaved down with experience. I can score a round really quickly (2 minutes, maybe?) now that I know the cards and how they connect.

Never under 60 minutes. More like 2 hours for my group, which is moderately experienced. Usually 4 players, though.

I've played a lot of two player games in 45 mins, but when I played with four it took two hours.
