My favorite 18xx game for six players is two games of 1846 with three players each.

No one's birthday that I know personally, but today is the 12th anniversary of the day I proposed to my wife.

Thanks, Larry! And happy birthday to you in turn. I keep chasing you but never seem to catch you.

In the past year, thanks to the wonderful Friendless stats site, I learned that there is only one calendar date on which I have not played a game since I started recording all my plays on 1/1/2002, and that date is October 5! The primary reason for that is that I spent many years working in reinsurance, where I made trips to London the week of my birthday each year. This year my daughter and son-in-law are coming over and I aim to fill that hole.

blush I couldn't find a St. Pete cake, or an 18xx cake, or a square-dance cake!!!!!!

However, here's a BETTER cake for you!!

Thank you, MMB! Guess if I had to choose between a stooge and a pissed-off foul, I'd go with the former!
