I recently ordered Cuba Libre as my intro to the COIN series (sshould be here Monday). I am curious to hear from other folks who have played others in the series, outside of theme what are the big differences in play and weight of the game. I am interested especiallyin the solo portion of the game and two players with the bots. A Distant Plain looks a fair bit weightier than Cuba Libre but I would lovet to hear from folks with first hand experience.

And if you never have, you should. These things are fun and fun is good.

Hey Scott, I've played Andean Abyss a few times. I enjoy the card mechanic and the decisions it offers. At times, the game feels a bit like build up/tear down from turn to turn (i.e. its not a slowly growing empire) but I don't see the big issue with that.
