I have two questions about Advanced Bujutsu. I hope somebody can help me out here.

This is what the rules say:
------------
...
In Ronin there are two type of Bujutsu - Weapons Bujutsu and Advanced Bujutsu.

Weapons Bujutsu
Each type of Bujutsu is linked to a particular weapon type,...
...

Advanced Bujutsu
...

------------
Are the Advanced Bujutsu linked to a particular weapon type or not?

Secondly, why is there a difference between an Ability and an Advanced Bujutsu? I can think of three reasons:
- Only done for historical correctness.
- Advanced Bujutsu 'are' bond to a weapon.
- Advanced Bujutsu are all meant to have requirements. Bajustu implicitly requires a horse, and the requirement for Senjo-juntsu is missing. This was my initial though!
- For the ninja's options. They can only take Bujutsu.

Any idears? Thanks

I'd treat them all as attributes. The first two are explicitly linked to bujitso, the third is predicated on the model possessing a horse, and the last I would assume (my interpretation only) may be taken any model with the Commander ability. I'm assuming the "advanced" tag refers to the fact that they all have a pre-requisite attribute.
