Hi,

Looking for a solitaire-capable WWII-themed game where the effects of one scenario/game carry over to the next. For example, if a soldier is killed in one scenario, he is not available for use in a subsequent scenario.

Is there a game you enjoy that fits this description?

Thanks in advance.

Out of print but still available to buy. TryAmbush!and Battle Hymn. Can be played one off or as a campaign. Uses paragraphs to explain what is happening. Man to man scale. More Hollywood than reality but great fun to play.Ambush! and its expansions Ambush! Move Out!, Ambush! Purple Heartand Ambush! Silver Staris set in Europe. Battle Hymnand its expansion Battle Hymn: Leatherneckis in the Pacific.

In the campaign, you get experience for your men and obviously if one dies, you have a rookie replacement. In the game, you have tanks, friendly and enemy, other vehicules, bunkers, canoes, paratroopers, and even a V2!

GMT: Fields of Fire

Make sure you download the latest rules and or the fan based unoficial rules reorganisation. Effort required but rewarded , plenty of videos and laythrough examples on BGG and GMT.
