Curious what the community may think of the following characters. I am currently helping put together a Castle Ravenloft Adventure Path and wanted to add a few characters into the mix. The four following characters are mathematically equivalent to the characters presented in the PACG.

Before checking out the characters - a few things of note...

-Monsters are equally divided into 5 types (Beast, Ghost, Vampire, Witch, Zombie)

-There is a new skill: Will. All characters possess this skill as a bonus because they are used to the horrors of the setting

-Instead of a Blessings Deck, it's a Dark Powers Deck




MONSTER HUNTER (based off of Ranger)

Re: 4 Gothic Horror/Ravenloft Characters
Pretty cool! I like the idea of a necromancer type class where monsters enter your hand. It would be interesting to have a hypnotize type spell for human monsters and/or an enslave spell for demon monsters.

I agree, your necromancer is a really good idea. I think it needs a few tweaks though. The undead allies aren't currently good enough to replace your allies in your deck. I think you need the following changes:

-You get 5 bonus skill points per character, up his will to +3
-Make the extra d6 a bonus for recharging, and then give the undead the option to discard to explore.
-Undead are permanent allies and can remain in your deck from game to game.
-for card list, maybe 4 allies and 3 blessings.

I think these changes will make the undead be a better choice as allies for the necromancer then the standard allies. And since your chances of running into them are slim, and then on top of that you have to pass a check. You should make them more valuable.
