I just bought Twilight Struggle last week and am eager to play my first game. So eager that I want to try a PBEM game. A few questions:

1) Is PBEM a poor choice for a first game? Given that the PBEM engines are "presentation only" without much game logic built in, would it be a bad idea to try to learn the game via PBEM rather than face-to-face?

2) What's the best bet to play this thing PBEM? VASSAL or Cyberboard? I don't know much about either one, so ease of use is definitely my primary objective.

3) How are the cards handled in a PBEM version? Does the game handle the deck / discards / hand management, etc?

Thanks in advance!

1) Not at all

2) I think the VASSAL mod is a bit too crowded. I prefer the Cyberboard gamebox.

3) You have to handle it yourself, but it's pretty straightforward.
