Yup, low-information voters are solely found on the left...

99% of the voters in any given election are "low-information," because 99% of the people in this country are fucking morons.

The bill had been available for a long time to read. It had been thriugh committie and review and negotiations. That congressmen chose not to read it and be informed means you should not re-elect them.

Democrats "I did know know I would have to pay"
Republicans "I did not think they would shut down what I like".

Both parties contain their fair share of morns who just tow the party line, without thinking how it will affect them.

Whenever I see these types of clips, I always wonder how many interviews they left out because the interviewee knew what they were talking about.

In this case, how many people said, "they're the same thing" and got edited out?

Unfortunately I've been unable to get any insurance quotes from the healthcare.gov site. The biggest design problem for Obamacare is that it does not force everyone to get insurance via the exchanges. Corporations should be able to pay for insurance if they want but they should have to buy it off the exchanges just like everyone else.

Assuming that the Democrats manage to retake control of the house and pick up some seats in the Senate (fairly likely) I'd expect to see a new tax in 2015 on all insurance coverage which was not bought through the exchange system. For the exchanges to work they must have a broader pool of customers instead of the current design of having a pool that is inherently less healthy (thus leading to higher cost of insurance).

I think that's obvious, yes. It's a comedy bit, not an exposé.
