Several expansion modules have been discussed for ASP.
The air forces that would be involved are - France, Belgium, Poland, Norway, Holland.
I'm interested in feedback on what AC would be must haves. Each expansion module would typically accomodate 16 aircraft and scenarios.
For Example: France I have the following list of fighters. Bombers are important as well.
1. MS 406
2. Bloch 151
3. Bloch 152
5. Potez 631/633
6. Cuadron 714
7. 110C early
9. 109E-3 early
11. Farman 222
12. Leo 451
13. Amiot 143
14. Bloch 174
15. Breguet 690
16. Hawk 75A-2
what you really need to do is a mediterranean expansion, with all the Italian stuff
fighters: CR42, G50, G55 mc200, mc202, re2001
bombers: SM 79/81/84, Br20
recon: Ro44 , Z501, Z506, Z1007
plus fleet air arm Fulmars, Martlets, sea hurricanes, Skuas and Swordfish, and RAF beaufighters
so that all the Malta fighting and related convoys can be covered,
....but as that wasn't the question you asked...
assuming the ASP reprint is 48 ADC's (in line with OTR ) I would rate the MS406 and D520 as must have, because there are plenty of Vichy/Allied clashes where these types were involved ( Torch, Madagascar, Syria e.t.c) and you need the D520 to shoot down Molders.
The Bre 693, Lio 451, Hawk-75, Potez63 and Bloch 151/52 and navy SB2U-2'S would also be nice if there is room. I'm not too bothered about the other French bombers as they were mainly nocturnal. At this stage of the war, there weren't any efficient interception techniques, so not too much fun in scenario terms.
For Norway Gladiators, He115's and Ju52's are obvious choices. Poland/Holland/Belgium I can take or leave, but HS126 and Lysanders should be included so May 1940 fights can include them in random events.
I would also like to see a February 1942 'channel dash' operational level scenario which would require Beauforts and Swordfish, and British torpedoes.
Of course stick em all in if you can.
