Have a look at the games that Deinko produce. This year Patchistory sold out early on Thursday. Last year Spice Merchant turn out to be a good filler card game.

I bought Sushi draft @Essen. Pretty light but nice.

Look at Japon Brand

My two favs from the show:
Donburiko - bluffing. W Eric Martin did a preview in his blog.
Eggs of Ostrich - 3p only, quick bluffing again.
Also:
Cheaty Mages! - my friends were all raving about this at Essen.
String Safari - string enclosing animals. Not my cup of tea, but Tom Vassal liked it.

Why do all those Asian games have so few votes? are the print runs so small, don't we have enough asians on this side?
Or what is it?

They're a bit obscure with small print runs. If they get picked up however, they can be huge, Love Letter, Traders of Osaka...

Likely Lost Legacy and Machi Koro will be picked up as examples.

I think they mean designed by actual Asians.

One reason for low votes is there being limited if any English versions of games. Machi Koro had a grand total of 50 English copies at Essen 2013.
