An unusual start to a Boardgames day, with 15 involved in a open forum about Catan/ Carcassonne tournament in Albury, analyzing the pro's and con's, but all unanimously agreed to give it a go and are looking forward to it. Gaming started when Shawn interjected the forum with "What's going on? Let's get into some gaming" and that's what we did. Again a total of about 24-30 people during the day, some deciding to play some longer games such as Twilight Emporium 3rd Edition, great effort guys, great to see ones entertained for a strong 4 to 5 hours. With 40-50 games to choose from and many experienced players to help new ones, it's a great opportunity to learn new games.
We also have the effort of Julian from Unhalfbricking, bringing many games for sale at great competitive prices. If he is contacted early enough he can bring the games that you want to purchase on the day. What a oppurtunity to purchase, crack open shrinkwrap, punch out game tokens, and be shown how to play you're new game straight away.
Another great day of gaming with a energetic and enthusiastic group of gamers. The night was finished of with a game of shadows over camelot, yes we lost to a successful traitor who had us guessing the whole game, finally being revealed by the reveal traitor card, which had four of us die by losing our last life point, well done Tim (traitor) . hope to seeya all next time.
