I can confirm that there is a hidden card inside the inner lining of the lid of the Bigger Blacker Box. You can feel it if you run your hand along the inside of the top. You will have to cut the lining to get to it, but I promise, the silver foil stamped card is very much worth it.

Very nice! And I was guessing they would make that particular card as well. I knew what it was going to be before I flipped it over.

Thanks for telling about it!

I wonder how many people are now going to tear apart the entire box looking for more hidden treasures?

That was my guess as soon as I saw this thread. I just don't know how to go about getting this out without doing too much damage.

A simple package cutting blade works fine. Just make a 2 inch slice. And tear off the whole paper slip to expose the card. It will rip away clean. Save for some minor glue marks. It will leave no permanent box damage as long as you're gentle with the incision. Just cut enough so you can get a finger nail under it to rip the paper off.

I was completely prepared for this to be a joke. Wow.

And yeah, I suppose there's no other card it could have been.

The cut does not have to be anywhere near the card. Since you are tearing the whole paper off, just cut anywhere a safe distance away.

Maybe you can order a replacement one?

I got the card out with minimal damage to the box.

1) Using a finger, locate one of the edges of the card on either short side and make a light mark along the edge of the card with a fingernail.
2) With a sharp hobby knife, make a slit in the paper wider than the card, about 1/2 inch away from the fingernail mark on the non-card side of the mark to make sure you don't cut the card.
3) Insert another card halfway into the slit, carefully sliding it under the hidden card. You will probably need to press on the hidden card through the paper while doing this to prevent it from moving.
4) Holding the second card in place, tap the end of the box lightly on the table until the hidden card slides out of the slot.

If this doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll try to post a picture to illustrate.

Does anyone know if the hidden card in the new bigger, blacker box (2016) is the same as what was in the original box?

It is.

However the new box also includes a unique one of a kind procedurally generated card. It's in a little envelope in the box, not hidden away like the special bonus card.

So there is also a foil printed card in the bottom of the Bigger Blacker Box too. In the middle division you can feel it. Same thing as the lid, cut away and rip.
