Can you walk on half hexes?
Like the left and right side of the map in scenario one?

Thanks played it that way. But in so many other games it is not the case so we became confused...excellent game and introduction for 5 people to the hobby so far. Deep but easy to learn...highly appreciated

page one of the rules, section 2.0:

Map – The game maps portray terrain typical to the theater of
war found in Europe during World War II. A hex grid has been
overlaid on the game map to regulate movement and combat.
The maps included in the game are geomorphic. They can be
combined in a number of diff erent ways as required by the
scenario. Half-hexes are fully playable.
