On the phase 5, "trade and process"

I don't understand this rule :
"Deals involving future transactions are allowed, but promises
are not binding"

This means the promise that I don't sell microchips to any company is not binding ?

This means that if I agree to sell at 10M$ land the tree next turn to another company that gave me 30M$ now, it's binding, right ?

If yes on the last question, do the deal is still binding on the society if the CEO change ?

I'm really confused on what is ok with future deals.

Promise anything you want about the future, but you're not required to honour the promise.

Everything is relative to perception, and your perception is limited.

Yeah, pretty much anything is fair game. Offer to mow my lawn tomorrow, and I might trade you some sand, in the game.......or a few million for a million.
