Please point out if I understand correctly. Each box on the time record is a player turn: "F" for French and "A" for Allies. Both French and Allies have a day turn on June 15 while only French has a night turn. Conversely only Allies has a night turn on June 16. That is French and Allies take night turns alternately day by day. One side sleeps while the other side moves. Interesting...snore

Hi Joe,

It's just one of those game mechanisms that is there to balance out the night turns. I agree that two night turns in succession would have been more realistic but, it makes no difference to my enjoyment of the game.

Regards,
