Please point out if I understand correctly. Each box on the time record is a player turn: "F" for French and "A" for Allies. Both French and Allies have a day turn on June 15 while only French has a night turn. Conversely only Allies has a night turn on June 16. That is French and Allies take night turns alternately day by day. One side sleeps while the other side moves. Interesting...
VENI, VIDI, VISA - my reaction on entering my FLGS.
Like a good red wine, I improve with age... and being laid.
It's just one of those game mechanisms that is there to balance out the night turns. I agree that two night turns in succession would have been more realistic but, it makes no difference to my enjoyment of the game.
