Looks like there will be another summoner class. I wonder what that black creature(in the picture) going to do?

I wonder how 4 summoner classes will look like all in one game

1. Geomaster
2. Necromancer
3. Beastmaster
4. New Class (?wizard?)

If all of them summons their max items/units, it will be 4 Heroes + 6 summoned items/units on the board.

You can get two more by having one of the Wizards play Challara and the new class Shadow Walker (which is a Scout) play Vyrah or Ronan.

I believe the black creature token is the Shadow Walker's Shadow Soul.
In the first edition the Shadow Soul was a familiar granted by an ability card. You could move that around on the board as a figure, and once per turn you could either recall it back in a space adjacent to you for free, or swap spaces with it.
I bet it will work in a similar way, allowing the Shadow Walker to move quickly around the map and to gain positioning advantage. I'm figuring some skills revolving around gaining some kind of attack/defense benefit vs monsters adjacent to the shadow soul token, or maybe a way to make the shadow attack by itself, or to allow you to swap place with the shadow and make a free attack on a monster which is now adjacent. We'll see.

Anyway a full summoner team would be fun to play. Zerg the OL for the win!

Such a team would autowin A Fat Goblin: with so many figures clogging up the hallways, Splig should never be able to pass.
