2x King of Tokyo
1x Dakota

We played Dakota for the first time without any one of us knowing it. And it was one of those surprise moments for us since it was actually really fun. I like the pseudo-team aspect in this game when it comes to taking resources from the different areas.

Saturday:
Village x1
Boss Monster: The Dungeon Building Card Game x1 - Looks like this one definitely plays better with 3 than 2. Very close game 10 - 9 - 9.
Tsuro x2

Sunday:
7 Wonders x5 - Got into one of those grooves where the game was really working for us. Everyone kept saying one more time after each game.
Ticket to Ride x1 - We need to find another player, these 3-player bloodbaths are getting brutal!

Got in a quick 2 player game of Pandemic with 4 epidemic cards. It turned out nasty. Really nasty. During the setup phase just about all of the starting outbreaks were clustered in a small area. We were about 3 or 4 rounds in when the outbreak chains started. The viruses were relentless and we had a outbreak chain just about on every draw. Quickest loss on a 2 player easy game ever...for me anyway. shake

Galaxy Trucker: Anniversary Edition - Had a 2p game of this using the new 1C/2C and 4C ships from the new expansion. Great fun, I quite like having to be careful down the anomaly on the ship. The 4C managed to make me have a ship with exposed connectors for the first time in well...quite a while ^^.

Sunday
Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Rise of the Runelords – Base Set * 4 - We failed a couple of times at a scenario, with Lem laying down his life in a failed effort to take out the villain. On our third try we valiantly succeeded, with a considerably amount of time to spare in fact. We then went and did an earlier scenario to catch a couple of characters up with our more advanced ones so that they weren't so gimped ^^
Gear & Piston - We had one quick game of this, which I absolutely stomped my friends at for some reason I can't quite work out. The game I had last before this another friend got a similar lead on us. Seems there's a runaway leader issue here although it doesn't feel like it while playing :S

I got to try a game of Nations at our local game day. It was awesome to be able to try out some Essen goodness before they are available! I thought it was interesting, and with much smoother play than Through the Ages, in my opinion.

GUBS x2 - Lost both games.

Gloom - Lost.

Smash Up! w/ expansions - Got destroyed by my buddy's Plants/Robots combo. I just could not make Minions of Cthulhu/Miskatonic University work for me.

Penny Arcade: Gamers vs. Evil - Annihilated my opponents with 40 points to their 7 and -3.

King of Tokyo - Pulled off a victory due to Wings and lots of energy.

Agricola x 2 (both 2 players)

The first game was kind of weird as my wife and I settled into a routine where she would pick reed after I picked the wood, making it nearly impossible for either one of us to get that third room built for family growth. Sure, she upgraded her two rooms to clay but with only two players in the game and only one clay space on the board, gathering 5 clay for a third room was nearly impossible until late in the game. I think we both finished with 20 something points.

The second game was different and we tied 41-41. I got the Market Woman and Bakehouse into play which is a combo I really liked. It took all the pressure off my food engine and my family quickly swelled to five members.

Suburbia (2 players)

We finished around midnight after a very busy day and I was doing sooo good until the final scoring...which is exactly when I remembered there were public goals in the game. The wife said something like, "I was wondering why you were giving up on those goals at the end." Don't know about you but I get brain dead when I'm tired. No regrets, I had a good time playing one of my new favorite games.

Lords of Waterdeep (2 players)

I lost 203 to 198. On the last turn, wifey picked a building with five victory points on it while I gambled and picked a new quest...that I wasn't able to fulfill.

Spot It Halloween (4 players)

This game gets REALLY loud in my house when we play it with the kids. Lots of shouting and laughter.

King of Tokyo (4 players)

I won my first game of KoT against the wife and kids! They usually team up and knock me out first

Man oh man, board gaming is SO MUCH FUN!

Saturday-My wife saw my top 10 games and saw where I had Railways of the World in it. She then asked me it to teach her, so I did. She enjoyed it enough to play it again. We also played Ticket to Ride. (One play of each.)

Sunday-1 play each of Castle Panic and Thurn and Taxis.
