I'm having trouble getting the BSW client to work at all. I'm running windows 7 and have updated to the latest java, uninstalled older versions, tried reinstalling java, tried uninstalling the client and reinstalling and still no luck.

It starts up no problem but as soon as I try to initiate or enter a game it suddenly stops working. I'll get a little black box which that tells me its loading but that's as far as I get.

I've made sure to open port 7670 in my firewall and that didn't help either. I've installed the client at my work computer just to see if I could get it to work and I had no problems.

Anyone have a clue? Some help would be much appreciated.

Maybe you could run it from a command prompt, so you could see any console output. Maybe it is throwing an exception, and the trace would point to the cause.
