I just finished reading "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath", and the story mentions a creature called a "Bhole." I see several Dreamlands cards from Call of Cthulhu that feature a "Dhole." It seems that these are meant to be the same creature (a large, creepy, burrowing thing), but why the difference in spelling? Any ideas?

It's a fearful thing, to fall into the Hands of the Living God!

Actually, those are similar creatures, but they are referred to as two distinct things, or at least on distinct occasions. The "Dhole" are creatures that exist mainly outside the Dreamlands, whereas the "Bhole" exist in the Dreamlands. At least that is what I read regarding the CoC RPG...

Of course, there could have been a typo or mistake in the original texts of Lovecraft...

Ah, I see. I'm only familiar with the card game, not the RPG.
