You may place Fighters in sea zones adjacent to territories your side controls. The instant your side no longer controls or contests any territory adjacent to a Fighter's sea zone, the Fighter is lost.

The side with Air Supremacy in a sea zone may pick which of the enemy's Battleships, Cruisers and Subs will suffer hits in a Naval Combat. Enemy Transports may be selected for hits only after all enemy Battleships, Cruisers and Subs are destroyed.

If both sides have Fighters in a sea zone, they dog fight in the same manner as Fighters in a territory until one or the other side wins, establishing Air Supremacy by eliminating all enemy Fighters.

Fighters have no further effect on Naval Combat, and are unaffected by enemy ship/sub fire. Fighters may coexist with enemy ships/subs in the same sea zone and do not contest control of the sea zone.
