I recently stumbled upon a great online implementation of Cities & Knights.

Features:
* Java/browser based so it works on any platform.
* Multiplayer and bot modes.
* Ranking system.
* Nice graphics, sound, and user interface
* Editable and predefined maps
* Settlers, Seafarers, and Cities & Knights rules
* Free to play

You can knock out a full game with bots in about 25 minutes. I haven't won one yet so the AI seems pretty good.

Here is the link (which I've added to the game entry):

Excellent! I'm registered. It's sort of BSW Lite (and that's not meant in a disparaging way). There's only 4 games (so far), but they look pretty good. Here's hoping the site takes off!

Several friends and I have been playing the hell out of Asobrain for settlers and carcassone for a couple months now. They do a nice job ... very few bugs in the game (once in a while it will do things in a silly order in cities and knights, for instance building a settlement before playing a wedding card and missing out), plays fairly competetively.

Site has been stable though at high load I've had some games hang up. Good stuff.

One oddness I found in the user interface. In order to actually win the game, you need to click on the "Claim Victory" button. It's not enough to simply score the required number of points.

gonna have to try this...still play sea3D (settlers) and it's openGL and 3D goodness. Just yesterday was able to get it going under my mac (using parallels on winXP). Hopefully sometime this year Jason (developer) will release the windows, linux, mac version.

Heh...in my experience, you only have to lose once by forgetting to push that button ... :-)

It seems to play quite well via the bots, too - thanks for the pointer.
