Got my UPS notice early today that my RDs shipment will be arriving tomorrow. It will be two separate packages; one weighing 22 pounds and the other 8 pounds! That's 30 pounds...I didn't realize I ordered that much stuff shake...hopefully I'll be able to unpack it all over the next week as I'm out this weekend with other commitments yuk...in any event, I'm certainly looking forward, at long last, to receiving this.

A few years from now we'll all joke about how poor the KS communication for the RDs stuff has been...but we'll be happily playing the game and all of it's add ons. Sometime in the next week or so, Jeff has intimated that SMG will be posting some news on future releases....such as Urban Assault for one. Can't wait for the news...

Nice. Mine must have been one of the last ones to ship, which probably means Monday delivery. Sadly, I'm away on business then, but at least it will be something nice to come home to.

Just got mine today. Mine's only 20lbs worth, but there is a ton of stuff there that will take a while to get together, and even sort through.

True story- I had ordered this through my friend at work to keep the cost on the hush hush from the wife. I know, bad me....but she wouldn't dig it too much and doesn't buy my "need" for this stuff.

When filling out the survey, I had my friend's address on it for delivery, as a couple heavy packages would draw unwanted questions.....whistle

Debbie from LBG emailed me a couple weeks ago to make sure that the address was correct since it wasn't the one she had on file. I said, yes and explained things...she understood.

Hearing the buzz about shipments going out and whatnot, I figured I follow my buddy home from work, just in case there was a delivery today. No dice

20 minutes later, I turn the corner of my street and see a UPS truck in front of my house and blocking my driveway and see 2 boxes on the front porch, knowing that my wife is home and likely coming to the door soon to see what was delivered cry

The UPS driver pulls away, and while keeping an eye on the front door, I pull into my garage (lost sight of the porch for a minute) and scurried around to the porch in my ninja stealth infiltrator mode...praying the front door wouldn't open.

I grabbed the packages and put them in my car and then went in the house like normal through the entry from the garage.

Well...for whatever reason, the UPS driver never rang the doorbell or knocked, because my wife never heard anything, and she was on the couch watching the news, with the couch partially in front of the porch window.

So I new I had to bide my time until later after dinner when she took a shower and my kids were busy playing. I was an anxious fella throughout dinner and after dinner for awhile until she finally jumped into the shower. That gave me time to get into my car and sneak the boxes in and take them into my office in the basement, where I can now finally look things over.

Okay..okay...I'm bad for sneaking this in under the radar so to speak, but what's a fella to do? whistle

Greg, that's a good story! I'm lucky...so far...my wife unit supports my hobby, to a point whistle...as long as I keep my honey do's up to snuff, she's ok with me indulging my passion...and actually plays these things every now and then wow...unfortunately, with work and holiday commitments. I won't be able to actually do much more than unpack them over the next several weeks gulp

Well it will take a couple weeks to unpack and get things all squared away for sure.

Lots of stuff and I haven't even opened up the main box, just looked at some of the other stuff in the smaller box (though if you got 30lb's worth, you may have 2 big boxes ).

A couple quick things of note with my pathfinder team. I got a guy with -3 hide and another guy with rally of 5! Of course they aren't cheap VP wise, but still cool to see.

Now I have to open the main box and see what the rest of Sgt Heath looks like.

Sounds like you pulled a random event card that had the UPS driver get the wrong tile to drop your package at but you were quick with the LOOK then played the right combination of HIDE and MOVE to complete your orders and score big VPs. Nice mission soldier. Glad you didn't need to make use your fight and the wife didn't need to play a SHOOT.

Sounds like you are an infiltrator specialist. Nice moves.

With this particular package I won't have the same issue as it will get sent to the customs holding office and I'll receive a simple envelope asking me to chop my left arm off. Once the debt is settled I can pick it up at my leisure and absorb the booty in to my gaming collection.

She may still however play a REACT so make sure your "base" is in cover!

Good stuff fellas. If I'd been discovered we would have gotten into close combat, but my wife would have been equipped with both a knife and a pistol to have the advantage for sure.

She doesn't venture into my office much, but now I might have to put a "Halten" sign outside the office door and warn of landmines.

Ouch! I imagine the weight of the package changes the requirement from just chopping off your hand to chopping off your entire arm. But from what I've seen so far of the stuff, it's worth it for sure.

If she starts to enter your office throw smoke markers like mad at her and exit the board. Or buy flowers. I'd try the smoke first though.

I did get a UPS notification email prior to my receipt of the packages. Not sure if anyone else did, but it was very welcome in that I knew when to expect delivery. You can sign up for free at UPS to receive notifications...doesn't really answer your question about Sat delivery modest...but signing up might help you out...

BTW...I was number 31...those who rcvd their packages will know what I'm talking about

Here are some keys to follow when unpacking...step one, have your favorite beverage handy (note the double Manhattan to the side), step two, be prepared for those nasty plastic packing peanuts going everywhere! shake

This was the lighter weight box of two... You can see the wooden storage boxes peaking through all those pesky packing peanuts...

#2. I think I was actually the first to pull the trigger, but got confused by the procedure, and by the time I made the payment, someone else had snuck in.

Where in Chicago Tommy?

I'm #98. Would have been earlier, but someone was hemming and hawing about going in on the Buddy Level with me for a while and that delayed my backing until he decided against it do to like $1,000 in backing another project and not wanting to go too nuts.
