Only one - the unit movement. In the original (English and Spanish) version, you could move your own units through territories in which you had the maximum of units stationed already. This meant that you could successfully block the opponent but had yourself routes you could use...

In the First Edition German rules already (Asylum Games), the Revised English rules and all subsequent editions, this movement rule changed.
Now, you cannot move your own units through territories in which you already have the maximum of units stationed, meaning that you could effectively block your own movement as well as that of the opponent by placing too many units in a territory...

Hi sechzger...

Please, take not that there is no second edition yet... There is only German edition (Pegasus).

Only that.

What's the reason behind blocking own units?
I asumme that the rule with blocking works better. Right?

You may play with the original rule as optional.

Blocking your own units makes Sparta just a little more difficult to manage his land forces, paying a few Prestige points more than usual (more movements needed). It use to be less annoying to Athens.
