how is the replayability of this strictly from a 2 player perspective? do you feel like you're building the same city? is there a constant fight for specific tiles, etc? thanks.

No matter the amount of players the replayability is huge. No game has the same objectives neither the same tiles drawn the same turns.

Totally agree. The random selection of goals, and the fact that there are always tiles not used in the game, keeps the replayability very high.

I play this often with my wife, and we've actually removed the PR Firm and Casino, as they tend to break the game a bit. They have not come up in the 4p games, so I'm not sure if they are any better in that situation, but they probably will not be put back in for our 2p games.

I bought bunch of great games from Essen 2012, but there are two above others that I could still play whenever someone asks, without hesitation. One is Terra Mystica and the other is this. I've played it a lot with my wife, it's relatively quick 2p too. The new expansion also adds replayability, but it's absolutely not required.

I've been playing Suburbia 3 or 4 time per week, for more than 2 months now. Most of them are 2p. A few of them are with 3 or 4, and some with just 1.
