saw this advertised on the website, is this different from what comes in the box?

Cityscape

£30.00

A customisable 6' x 4' Battlefield in a box
10mm Scale

Box contains:
•20 x Card buildings (pre-cut, pre-folded, 20 designs, 615 micron)
•24 x Card ground tiles, double sided (1'x1', 24 face designs, 380 micron)

Build a Complete Urban Battlefield!

Edit: and what does micron mean, is it a size measure or....?

By "the box", I assume you mean the starter set.

This set comes with 20 buildings, instead of 10 in the starter.
Instead of 2 single-sided poster sheets that measure 4' x 3', it comes with 24 1' by 1' double-sided tiles that you can build your city out of, so it's a lot more customizable.

And yes, microns are measurement of thickness. I don't have the ground tiles, but the buildings are quite sturdy.

Thanks James.

I'm currently considering this game and as they have a free postage offer over a certain price I was looking to see what else I might get with the starter set.

Micron = micrometer.

(Because apparently even when Americans can be persuaded to use metric measurements, we still need to make them harder to understand. )

How does this scale work for Dust Tactics/Warfare?

The scales are quite different. Dust Tactics is 28mm, and Dropzone Commander is 10mm. You won't find them working together.

How would this scenery work out for Robotech RPG Tactics? I think it's technically 6mm 1/285 scale, but all the mecha are big so... What do you all think?

I've read that the scenary works fine for Warhammer Epic, which is also 6mm, I believe. I think if it's mostly vehicles and mechs, rather than lots of little infantry, it will look fine for that scale.
