I missed the kickstarter but bought a copy of the 1st edition several months ago. I absolutely love this game!!! So, my questions are this...

What exactly are the difference between the 1st and the 2nd edition?

Are there additional cards or components in the 2nd edition?

Have some of the components been changed or updated in the 2nd edition?

Are the new expansions compatible with the 1st edition?

Logos, tidied up rule book.

Mini figures instead of worker/surveyor pawns.

See answers to 1 and 2.

Yes.

Isn't there also a new drawstring bag designed for adult human hands too? I mean, I've got used to using a shrunken monkey paw on a stick to fish my cubes out between rounds, but I can see the appeal of a wider bag.

I can see the appeal of a shrunken monkey paw...not for gaming, mind you, just that it would be so fricken cool!

I just got my wife to do the restocking of cubes.

She got a bit annoyed being called over during my solo games...

Logos?

As tempting as the surveyor figures are it sounds like I'm fine sticking with the 1st edition.

But, I'm definitely doing the Jungfraubahn & Mount Washington expansion -- snow and dynamite!!!

Are there other expansions that I should be aware of?

Today, I received...
a) the larger black bag (1.5" wider than the original bag)
b) the Jungefraubahn/Mount Wasthington expansion (in a nice card box)
c) the Snowdonia: Britannia Bridge expansion cards (shrink wrapped)
d) the new miniatures that replace the pawns

Haven't played them yet, nor read the rules.

Just to let you know Tony I received my original copy of the daffodil line and managed to stop Alan sending out a second copy. There was a mix up on the address but it was all sorted out thank you everyone involved.

Is there a rules sheet for Britannia pack? I know one came with the Daffodil Line expansion but nothing came with my Britannia pack.

I'm not sure what I've got... I picked up Snowdonia today and it mostly seems to be 2nd Edition. The logo on the front of the box (bottom right corner) is the Indie Board and Games logo.

However, I'm wondering if the rulebook I have is 1st edition? The Components list on the first page shows wooden pawns for the player pieces, but I've actually got plastic miniatures for those. Also, the rulebook has the Blaenau Ffestiniog variant on the last page (and the cards tally with that too).

But according to http://surprisedstaregames.co.uk/Snowdonia/Second-Ed.htm , the 2nd edition should have the Jungfraubahnn and Mt Washington scenarios as well?

Am I missing stuff here? (not that I can't play the game with what I have, I'm just wondering if I've got what I'm supposed to have).

You have 2nd Ed; no wooden pawns, but cool custom minis instead (see various pics elsewhere of them painted!)

No - JF/MW is an expansion deck, available separately
