For those of you in the Pacific Northwest (or anywhere else!) late next month will be the last Diplomacy tournament at the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle. This tournament has been running every year since about 2002, but the organizers are planning on taking some time off so this year is expected to be the last one. So if you've ever thought about joining in what is truly one of the couple best Diplomacy events in the country, now is the time.

The tournament is free to attend. There is a round Friday evening, two rounds Saturday, and a round beginning Sunday morning. Come for as many or as few as you like.

My best guess is that we'll have somewhere between 50 and 70 players, likely including a couple from as far away as Europe. (I think we're nominally at something like 62 who have "confirmed" they are coming.) There's a wide variety of experience levels, including players attending their first event, so don't let that stop you.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here, or on the Facebook event page at:

Hope to see everyone in Seattle!
