A few, like Tigris & Euphrates and Carcassonne. Might get around to playing them sometime, might not. I got a pile of unplayed wargames to work through first!

Some fuzzy number greater than zero.

In terms of commercially packaged & sold individual games (as opposed to e.g. rules for abstract games using common components in books or computer files), I guess a dozen or so. E.g. I just received Milestones and Trans Europa in a math trade 3 days ago. So there are a few not yet played games like that lying around.

Many less than the unplayed wargames. If I buy a non-wargame, it's because I want to play it immediately. When I buy a wargame many reasons concour.

Maybe five.

As to wargames, the answer is probably more like a dozen, although that includes those I punched, set up, read the rules, and put back away, and haven't got back to again, since.

Not all that many. I just got several as Secret Santa gifts that are unplayed, some older games that I used to own and rebought are unplayed, a couple of Carcassonne expansions are unplayed. Overall, though, I play a much greater percentage of my euros than my wargames, mostly because of available opponents.

60! unplayed wargames out of a total of over 300. I buy the whole series when I like one game in it. I have 9 unplayed TCS games, but I KNOW they will be played someday. As I feel the rest of the unplayed "pile" will someday be played. The majority of my played games have been solo as I have had difficulties finding opponents on a schedule that involved raising three boyz.

Now I am finding more games are being played since I embraced VASSAL. Maybe I will have to learn to make modules if I ever want to get some of my older titles like Korsun Pocket to the "table".

I suppose that ratio of unplayed to owned is unusual. But am I really a bad guy?

OOooppps!!! What have I done...? Now everyone knows! modest

Out of the non wargames I have ZERO unplayed. My wife has only played one wargame Storm Over Stalingrad in over 25 years of being together. Yeah, she won. Now she will only play nonwargames.

Quite a lot, for different reasons...

Maybe I played someone else's copy and want one for myself, but haven't gotten it to the table yet. Maybe the mood just wasn't right yet. Maybe I bought it in Essen and just didn't get to play it...

Just as the microbadge says: Eurogamer _and_ wargamer...

Haven't acquired any in many, many years.
The only non-wargame I play with any regularity is M:TG.

I have a co-op game about a sinking island that I bought about two years ago for my sister who has a young step son who likes games but doesnt like to lose. It sits there in shrink wrap. For some reason I never remember to take it with me when I visit. It's become a standing joke with my other half.

Our household has many of the classics.

Those that I own?

Acquire, Twixt, Backgammon, BattleStar Galactica.

Backgammon and BSG are regularly played.

Very few, likely none. As others have said:

I'm not much interested in non-wargames, so don't buy many.
Of those I buy, I'm either so interested in it that it gets played immediately, or it's so simple that it gets played immediately anyway just to see if I like it.

There are probably a few party games or whatnot laying around the house somewhere, birthday presents for the kids or something, long since forgotten and certainly not regarded as "my" games.

8 non-wargames
7 wargames

Not bad for a 180 game collection. I'll get around to them eventually.

12 non-wargames out of 25
about 1100 wargames out of ~1500
interesting figures. I could say that I'm proportionally more an Eurogamer than a Wargamer.
