It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

You know, they say there was a man who jumped from the forty-FIFTH floor? But that's another story...

I have trolled through the rulebook numerous times...

There is a line that says, "Unmanned artillery cannot fire."

I have yet to find what "unmanned artillery" means.

In the illustrations they have artillery without any infantry firing... so that's not it (I'm assuming)...

Are unmanned artillery ones on their side after movement? Or do they have a damage cube?

Or did I misread something completely?

Thanks.

They have a damage cube. You can re-man them by moving infantry in (the inf. takes a damage cube).

Pag.5 of official rules when it describes the Action "close contact movement".

An artillery unit is un-manned if there are no infantry units in the area AND it has a damage cube assigned to it.

...
1)Un-manned artillery cannot move(p.5 3rd paragraph).
2)Un-manned artillery cannot fire(p.6 just above terrain effects).

The 2nd point is described in FIRE ARTILLERY ACTION section so it doesn't apply in step 1 of an ASSAULT?

A quick search give me this
