Thanks for taking a look. Back around 1980 I used to play a game very similar to Squad Leader. The exception is that each chit represented an individual, rather than a squad. Each chit even had a person's last name on it. For instance I remember an American rifleman named Acker.

I remember in Squad Leader when attacked, a unit could "break" be KIA'd or have nothing happen.

In the game I played, a chit ... or soldier, could be incapacitated, I think wounded too, which isn't part of the gameplay in Squad Leader.

Any idea what game I was playing? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for taking a look. The game was a WWII era... each chit could represent one soldier.

"Acker" means field (agricultural meaning) in German, if this helps in any way... So if this meaning applies to the game, it was probably rather a terrain counter than a unit counter, I guess. Or it is simply a name, in that case, forget about my post!

If I were the OP, I'd pose this question in the wargame forum.
