Hello! I am hoping to get some clarification on when damage is received and given. The rule book doesn't really say anything about it besides that you will take damage from lasers. Do you take damage from pushing? What about pushing multiple bots? Well, if anyone has any answers or a link to something that helps, I would truly appreciate it! :-) Thanks in advance!

Robot lasers as well as board mounted lasers damage you (one damage per laser that hits you). Pushing usually doesn't cause damage, but there are some Option cards that give you that ability. Talking about Option cards, they have a multitude of ways of giving damage, but the cards should explain that themselves, so no need for an exhaustive list I hope. There are also some other board elements that give damage other than lasers, but depending on which version you have you might not even have those. Lastly if you lose your bot, and it still has a life to spare, the new bot comes back with two damage already on it. I think that's all!

Why is there no Word Games Forum or Subdomain?

There should be a Word Games Subdomain, or at least a Word Games Forum!

Let's see:

1. Board-mounted lasers, which come in single, double, or triple (1, 2, or 3 points of damage) on various published boards.
2. Robot-Mounted lasers - those pesky other players that don't seem to understand that you're trying to win! One point of damage, unless they have some option like Double-barrel Laser (2 points).
3. Withdrawing an archive copy - you start with two damage.
4. Falling off a ledge to the level below - 2 points of damage per level fallen.
5. Flamers - they do one point of damage each time you enter into an active flamer space (or fail to leave such a space) during the Robots Move segment of a phase, and then one (additional) point of damage when you're in such a space during the Lasers Fire segment of a phase.
6. Radiation does a point of damage if you're in it at the end of phase 5.
7. Radioactive Waste does a point of damage every phase that you end in it.
8. Additional Weapons on robots, such as Ramming Gear (does a point of damage when pushing), Rear-firing Laser, and Reflector.
9. Explosive devices launched by robots (including yourself!): Missiles, Buzz Bombs, Mines, Proximity Mines (doing 1, 2, or 4 points of damage, depending on how close you are to the blast); Drone (1 or 2 points); Self-Destruct (1, 2, 4, or 8 points - unless you're the one self-destructing, in which case it's 16 points of damage); The Big One (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 points of damage).
10. Unspent fuel in a fueled option that is destroyed will also explode. As will the unspent energy in the Converter if destroyed or overloaded.
11. Use of the Recompile or Overload Override option, and landing after using the Big Jet option.

And Crushers and Pits (including falling off the edge of the board) simply destroy you without doing a specific amount of damage.

It is important to note that you do *not* take damage from:
a) Pushing or bumping into other robots.
b) Other robots pushing or bumping into you (unless that robot has Ramming Gear).
c) Bumping into Walls (or Ledges or Repulsor Fields, or One-way Walls).
d) Robots falling on top of you from above.
e) Falling onto another robot below.

Note that many of the above do not exist in the most recent "Hasbrolon Hill" edition. Specifically, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, d, and e.
