I received my none-KS RD and Tonga and am hurting for some more equipment. Are equipment packs going to be offered or anything like that? Since I didn't get the KS extra equipment and my specialists didn't have a lot of it, I was hoping I might be able to buy a couple packs in the future.

I'm also interested in that SMG Veterans pack that came with the KS. Looks like it would be nice to have for those dropped MGs and rubble items. Anyone heard if they will be offered next year? Thanks.

I'm really hoping the Kickstarter pack 3 is offered (second half of Tonga). Those of us who only got the 1st half of Tonga are kind of in an odd position because there's no way I'm going to actually buy the whole Tonga expansion when I have half of it.

SMG stated all items in the Kickstarter will be available later in 2014. If you are looking for equipment cards then you may want to purchase the expansions. The squad packs are a must have if you only have soldiers from the starter set. Play a few games with what you purchased and you will be able to determine what to purchase next.

Actually, no they didn't. Some of the items in Kickstarter were promised as kick starter exclusives.

The map boards were not promised as exclusives (I took great care about that--exclusive map bits would be a dead end street), but I was never told about splitting Tonga the way they did, though I realized putting stretch goals into Pegasus created a problem.

Were they a big manufacturer with only large runs, this would be a big problem, since there are way less than 200 people who might even be in the market for the extra parts. But LBG can do small runs and the smart play would be to announce a pre-order sign-up and give folks a one-time chance to fill that gap.

They have a lot on their plate but I hope they tidy this up soon.

That's my hope as well Kevin as I'm with Charles on this. If an opportunity arise to get the second half of Tonga I would do that but I am not going to buy the full set as I already have half.

LBG has always been good to me as far as all of my dealings and I feel that they will provide a chance to allow some of us to "catch up" as it would be easy to determine who is in this situation.

Standing by awaiting further orders ....

We will offer our Kick Starter supporters that upgrade in an email offer in February. You will have a chance to complete your Operation Tonga.

Jeff, is the gadget pack with the dropped MG token and rubble going to be offered later on for those that were not here during the KS?

No offense Robert, but
I hope not...I believe that was to be a kickstarter "exclusive" whistle

Hum, I would disagree with that. I think you are limiting everyone else, especially those that didn't play at the time. I think the custom sergeants are a great kickstarter additions, no need to offer to others. Even the decorations on some of the characters I would go with for KS exclusives. It is still a little odd that some "characters", who are suppose to be the same for everyone, might actually be different.

Kickstarters also should have free stuff on top of the base set, which will get people to pledge and get the project moving, but preventing that content from getting to others who will pay for it is not good business. It also limits the game in the future.

Not only KS exclusive, but only for KS participants who had previously bought DoD. It was meant as a thank you for DoD "Veterans" for supporting LBG by buying BOTH starters.

Yep...that was the "plus" for pledging in the first place...otherwise, no KS advantage wow...custom sergeants will be available to all down the road...

I understand some folks feel that way but from reading the kickstarter updates, the gadgets looked to be free to backers but will be released at some point to retail. The KS advantage is the value for your pledge in lots of free and early items. I think the gadgets would be great for gameplay and it seems those could only be used at home, if limited to certain folks. You couldn't use it with a new player and then tell them they had no way to get it. Plus these are not like Zombicide survivors on ebay that would get crazy prices. I don't mean to ruffle any feathers but we all try to support and want to enjoy the game.

Thought I would post this in here. Does Tonga post KS come in a box or a bag? Curious for storage reasons since I like to keep everything together.

If you are referring to post KS, as in you order from the Lost Battalion website, it comes in a box that is just like RtC and LB.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Thanks. Thinking of ordering soon along with a squad bundle.
