Query - I know each survivor makes noise but do they make noise in every zone they move through leaving a little trail of noise markers or do they just make noise in the zone they finish up in?

They only make noise in the zone they are. They are like a moving token, and they do not leave a trail.

I think you're confusing noise with either scent or bread crumbs.

Oh man, a mechanic for scent would be awesome. Something that degrades over time. Like leave two scent markers, at the end of the round remove 1 marker. Then zombies move to the noisest zone along the strongest scent route or something.

It would make zombie moving needless more difficult, but I like the idea.

Yeah, and if you uncover a zombie when searching you leave a little cloud of 'scent' markers in that zone...

Only Zombie Dogs would be able to pick up the scent, so not so difficult. They would be able to track out of sight, noiseless survivors.

If you are surrounded by zombies you might make a very strong scent.

Which leads to a new equipment card: Milk-Bones.
