Copy-pasting long links doesn't work on BGG

Yikes. This is going to seem like a really mean post, but hopefully the last couple of paragraphs will demonstrate it's meant as feedback to help, not wantonly destroy.

This is a real train-wreck of a project. There are 134 (unless I lost count) different pledge levels, including thirteen levels before you get to one that includes a physical copy of the game. Most of your early pledges are for things that you should be giving away as promotional advertising. Take a look at the number of pledges on a successful project.

TCGs do not succeed on Kickstarter. Not even the slickly presented ones with lots of gorgeous artwork.

This is something that won't bother most people, but...
Quote:
The Blue Team, or Imelridh Faction, goeth forth from their home

= mixing singular (team, goeth) and plural (their). Grr.

The stretch goals are terrifying, and make it apparent that you don't have Photoshop or a tablet. It that's the case, you will presumably lack the years or experience necessary to use those things properly! The stretch goals also include a LOT of development work that as a back I would expect to have been done before the project launches.

The really sad thing is that your combat system actually sounds rather inovative and neat. The trouble is that it seems to be wrapped up in a project with unrealistic plans and a completely unnecessary TCG/deck construction mechanic.

Relaunch as a fully tested stand-alone product (red vs blue if necessary, but building a semi-random army from a shared draw deck would be preferable), and I think a lot of people would take a punt. As things currently stand, I don't think you'll find many takers for any of those 134 pledge levels.

Not to mention this actually IS a relaunch, after cancelling another attempt a staggering TWO days before.

Who knows, with more preparation (months, not days) this might actually end up being a worthwhile project. But right now it needs some serious slimming down on all aspects (pledge levels, add-ons, background text; focus on the game).

Also, in my personal opinion, you need to find yourself some professional artists (for the cards) and a web designer (for the KS page).
And of course, you must get the game (professionally) tested and (p)reviewed.

Wishing you all the best!

Your not listening. Your problem isn't your artwork... while that can go a long way to improve things. Your problem is the disaster of reward levels and being a Trading Card Game. NO ONE! No stores, no customers, no one wants a TCG. It's a failure out of the gate. Make 2 or 4 factions and sell them in one box pre-made. Period.

And... read my blogs PLEASE. http://www.jamesmathe.com/kicking-screaming/

Also, your funding goal is unrealistic as is your time frame from the state the game is in now. That does not give anyone faith in your ability to make the game.

You should have 10-25% funding the first 2 days. If not you did not market your product well. Kickstarter is not a store to market or "learn things" on.

Oh my... That has got to be the single worst stretch goal I've ever seen.

Really... if you haven't read Jame's blog here:

http://www.jamesmathe.com/kicking-screaming/

... do it. Then read all 100 or so blog posts here:

http://www.stonemaiergames.com/blog/

Then, and only then, should you consider running a new campaign.
