I always though the original Amigo was a could do better (the 5s and 3s can get misread).

Until I saw all the others. OK, none are as bad as the first Rio Grande version. But still worse that the original.

(I also don't like the 5 step. It adds extra reward to collecting commodities rather than largest ship, and collecting commodities was already strong.)

My regret is one Essen there was a pile of remaindered Amigo copies going for 5 DM (sic) each. Unfortunately we were in a Mini (an original one, two of us and a lot of games) with no room. Otherwise we'd have bought. No, not a copy. The whole pile (couple of dozen copies from memory).
