When a car is eliminated from the race is it immediately removed from the track? Is there debris left on the track on the space that the car was eliminated?

I'm not completely sure, but I think car is just removed - that's all. Of course, we usually put it on the roof near the track just for fun to remember how driver made a mistake and laugh about him time after time.

The way we play it is that we leave the eliminated car where it is, until every following car passes it. Then if the car behind the eliminated is the leader of the round we remove it, but leave a dangerous space marker in its place.

While the eliminated car is in the track we consider it as impassable obstacle that you cannot drive over. When it is removed it is treated like a normal dangerous space, that if you pass over you roll for suspension.

It depends.

If the car was eliminated due to losing its last Body Point or Engine Point, mark the space with a debris counter (as usual) and remove the car.

If it was eliminated due to overshooting a corner without enough Tire Points, we just remove the car. There's no debris counter as the car "went straight on the corner".

My league plays it as:
Leave the car on the track. Treat as an impassable object.

We have also played a variant of the above rule: Add a dangerous space marker on every square that is adjacent to the wreck.
This added ALOT of slowing down to avoid all of the debris when that car was passed on consecutive laps.

But then again, we are pretty mean that way...

We remove the car and leave a comprehensive, badass dangerous space marker.
