I'm looking to give my jem'hadar attack ships a new splash of color, preferably one that's closer to their on-screen color. Anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish that, or have any examples of their own?

Here's a pic of mine:

Jem'Hadar (Citadel paints, some of them old):

Base coat:
1 part Space Wolves Grey, 1 part Codex Grey

Then wash with Leviathan Purple

Clean up again with the base coat color

Back panel color: Liche Purple

Front panels A: 1 part Fortress Grey + 1 part Chaos Black

Front panels B: 1 part Liche Purple + 6 part Codex Grey

Nacelle color: White with a touch of Liche Purple (add white to highlight)

Undercarriage color: Warlock Purple

Hope this helps!

Those look terrific! I'd love to know what color you used for the Breen.

Breen:

Base coat with Scorched Brown

Wash with Nuln Oil

Dry brush with Scorched Brown

Highlight the hull pylons with Shadow Grey + Black (3/1 ratio I think, I forgot to write it down)

Highlight the green lights with Moot Green, then build up a touch of Moot Green + White for a bit of light depth

Enchanted Blue for the blue deflector underneath

Red Gore for the back engine

Hope this helps!

That is a REALLY nice job on that Jem'hadar ship. I don't have the fancy Citadel paints, but I think I'll take a whack at it with my cheapo Walmart craft paints.
