Another session kicked off with a bout of trading in the Genoese stylee.
Dom, Pete and myself had played this before, so we had a bit of an advantage over Jase who was new to it.
I think that the best things about this game are the high player interaction and the number of ways you can go about acquiring wealth and these were reflected in the way everyone went about the game.
Pete and myself made a beeline for the privilege cards while Jase and Dom went about delivering huge quantities of some of the finest goods Europe has ever seen, while we all haggled as fiercely as we could to get the best deals possible. Dom also quickly staked his ownership claims to as many of the buildings as possible, a position that was never really challenged.
