Would someone mind posting the basic movement rules/capabilities for each faction (is COIN movement distance unlimited via unblocked LOCs, do the insurgents only move one adjacent, etc.)? I think we have it right but I just wanted to double check.

Thanks.

The type of operation or special activity that causes the movement is important.

The last time we played there was a discussion based on movement for each of the factions. This is how we played:

Taliban > move on MARCH into adjacent space or LOC + additional movement if Pashtun.

Warlords > same as Taliban MARCH minus Pashtun bonus.

Government > Distance unrestricted (PATROL or TRANSPORT) if LOC is unblocked otherwise movement is adjacent only (SWEEP).

Coalition > Same as above (PATROL and SWEEP) AIR LIFT is unrestricted and SURGE is dependent upon non-SA.

Just wanted to make sure we did this correctly.

I generally agree with this.

Sounds good noting that sabotage is the only thing that blocks the LOC.

Sounds good, but I don't know what non-SA refers to here?

The non-SA (special activity) in this case refers to the Train action which is done in conjunction with Surge. We played the Surge SA in the location where one decided to Train.

I am not sure I follow, but let me add this. You can surge in locations with COIN control or Kabul.
