I've heard a little bit about MakePlayingCards.com on these forums; I believe someone said that they are a reseller for PrinterStudio.com. One thing that MakePlayCards has that I don't see on PrinterStudio is custom tuck boxes for $1 apiece (minimum 100).

Has anyone used their custom tuck boxes before? How is the quality?

I've not tried it to be able to tell you how good they are, but PrinterStudio does exactly the same thing. If you order cards from the "custom cards" category, such as these poker-sized cards:

http://www.printerstudio.com/personalized/custom-playing-car...

then there's a drop-down in the top-right to choose between a clear case or a custom box, the latter having a 100-unit minimum order. There's then a link you can click to pop up another window with the custom tuck box details on:

http://www.printerstudio.com/pops/custom-box-poker.html

(This changes the price-per-pack at 100 units from $4.73 ea. to $6.03 ea., so the custom tuck boxes are costing $1.30 ea. at that unit count. Since MPC doesn't provide an online price for custom boxes - only blank white ones - it's not immediately obvious whether this is cheaper, more expensive, or exactly the same pricing structure as Printers' Studio.)

Actually, MPC does provide their full price schedule including for custom printed tuck boxes:

http://www.makeplayingcards.com/low-price-for-bulk.aspx

Blank white tuck boxes for a standard poker deck are $0.10 apiece, for any quantity. Custom printed boxes are $1.00 apiece for any quantity, with a minimum of 100.

So, it sounds like for custom printed boxes, they're cheaper to buy through MPC rather than PrinterStudio ($1.00 versus $1.30). Good to know, but...

Does anyone have any experience with the level of quality and service?
